2025 Departmental Results

Key StaƟsƟcs

 The department completed 2,054.25 hours of training in 2025. That training included 1,291.75
Continuing Professional Training (CPT) hours that are mandated to be completed by the State of
Ohio each year. Each sworn officer is required to complete 24 hours of CPT credits.
Most of our officers went above and beyond the 24 hours, for an average of 40 hours.
 The remaining 762.50 hours were career development trainings throughout the year that help
keep officer’s skills sharp and up to date. These included various topics such as defensive tactics,
mental health and wellness in first responders, technology trends and investigations, youth and
juvenile situations, advanced driving skills, leadership, ethics, drone operation, FBI leadership
certifications, K9 training, SWAT, and more.
 Our non-sworn, administrative staff totaled 397 hours of training covering topics for social
media, grant writing, administrative excellence, mental health and wellness, police records and
reports, etc.
 3 Command Officers attended Harvard Executive Leadership training program.

All department employees whether sworn or non-sworn are encouraged to seek addiƟonal
specialized training which benefits their job funcƟons.

Incorporating a custom training management system streamlines course tracking, certification
compliance, and performance development within the department.
