               2025 Departmental Results

In 2025, the Uniform Patrol Bureau achieved significant outcomes that reflect its commitment
to superior service delivery, professional development, and strong community partnerships.

               Superior Response & Service Delivery

Officers demonstrated exceptional professionalism and effectiveness in critical incidents.
Notably, a suspect involved in a tragic shooting at Shaker Heights Public Library was
apprehended within minutes of the initial call. In another incident, officers successfully
de-escalated a situation involving an individual firing a weapon in a residential yard, taking the
               suspect into custody without injury.
Advanced investigative techniques including DNA collection from recovered stolen vehicles and
the strategic deployment of K-9 and drone resources led to the identification and arrest of
multiple suspects. The effective use of FLOCK technology also resulted in the apprehension of a
suspect wanted for multiple felonies including felonious assaults and homicide.
